FLOW ON THE FARM: TUESDAY EVENING YOGA

  • Brooklyn Grange at Navy Yard 63 Flushing Avenue Brooklyn, NY, 11205 United States (map)

Join us for sunset yoga on the roof! Shaped within a 60 minute, all levels asana (yoga postures) practice, we’ll move together in harmony with nature. Class will begin with a brief centering in breath and space, and gently evolve into an intentional flow of movement and meditation. Inspired by the beauty and wisdom of the landscape, we’ll root down and rise up, connecting to the expansive energy all around us.

WHAT TO BRING:
YOGA MAT
REFILLABLE WATER BOTTLE

ALL CLASSES TAKE PLACE RAIN OR SHINE. WE DO NOT PROVIDE MATS OR PROPS, please BYO.

Our yoga classes are available at a sliding scale. We invite you to practice economic solidarity with your community and choose the ticket tier that makes most sense with your financial situation.

  • This tier is at the market rate and reflects the true cost of the service, labor and expertise of producing the workshop/event. This price point allows us to generate a profit. We encourage those with access to wealth to opt for this tier as it enables Brooklyn Grange to offer more tickets at an accessible price.

  • This tier reflects the cost of our service labor and expertise required to produce the workshop/event and allows us to make a small profit. We encourage those to opt for a Sustainable Ticket if the price point of a General Ticket is prohibitive.

  • This ticket tier reflects our intention to make our events open for all! We want all members of our community to enjoy Brooklyn Grange no matter their financial situation. Opt for the Solidarity ticket if General or Sustainable is not accessible to you right now.

Our season runs from May 20 - October 14, 2025.  Classes are limited to 25 people and advance reservations are strongly recommended. Drop-ins may be turned away upon arrival if classes are full.

About Chelsea Moore: Chelsea’s teaching practice is woven from a deep reverence for the threads of yogic tradition- specifically, pranayama (breathwork), asana (movement), chanting, and meditation. She fiercely believes in the body as a map to understanding, and loves sharing this process of discovery with her community in order to cultivate a space of care, trust and growth.

About Stevie Hopper: Stevie cares deeply about making asana accessible for all bodies, ages, abilities, curiosities, and energy levels. They have additional training in Yin Yoga, Yoga Nidra, and trauma-informed somatic practices. Their class is both playful and rooted in breath awareness to encourage exploration of the mind-body connection and find what feels good. They received their 200-hour teacher training from The Corner Yoga and are currently pursuing their 300-hour RYT certification with ISHTA Yoga. Stevie is so excited to be back on the farm for another summer of sunset flow!
