HARVEST SHARE PROGRAM @ SUNSET PARK
Harvest Share is a program based in Sunset Park, Brooklyn that aims to support healthy diet and strengthen community and social ties in the neighborhood. The program includes culturally appropriate, community supported agriculture (CSA) shares and nutrition education to the Sunset Park community. Each week, a valued share of $25 will be available on a sliding scale payment.

“I really, really loved the program. I have a really hard time, with a somewhat limited budget, and extremely limited time, in choosing a variety of vegetables each week to prepare. The fresh food program and the variety of veggies it provided each week meant I always had enough veggies and a wide variety of veggies that I could get creative with and learn how to prepare.”
