Join us for an afternoon of pure flower magic on the farm with Suhaly Bautista-Carolina of Moon Mother Apothecary. In this workshop, we’ll explore the vibrational energy of the flowers on the farm as we learn about this subtle, profoundly deep form of plant medicine and how it can be used to support our healing processes. We’ll take a stroll around the farm so that each participant can choose the new moon August bloom that calls to them for their mother essence, such as: sunflower, snapdragons, violet or yarrow (flowers may vary depending on what is in bloom at the time of the workshop). We’ll work with the energy of the sun as well as the new moon in Virgo; infusing the spirit and magic of this lunar phase into the essence- welcoming the energy of new beginnings, abundance, and radiance into this ritual practice. Each participant will make their own unique mother essence (alcoholic and non-alcoholic options will be available). We ask that each person bring a small bowl or vessel of your choosing for the essence-making process. It can be glass, ceramic, copper, something gifted, something thrifted, passed down or new. All other materials will be provided.

Our workshops and events are available at a sliding scale. We invite you to practice economic solidarity with your community and choose the ticket tier that makes most sense with your financial situation.

  • This tier is at the market rate and reflects the true cost of the service, labor and expertise of producing the workshop/event. This price point allows us to generate a profit. We encourage those with access to wealth to opt for this tier as it enables Brooklyn Grange to offer more tickets at an accessible price.

  • This tier reflects the cost of our service labor and expertise required to produce the workshop/event and allows us to make a small profit. We encourage those to opt for a Sustainable Ticket if the price point of a General Ticket is prohibitive.

  • This ticket tier reflects our intention to make our events open for all! We want all members of our community to enjoy Brooklyn Grange no matter their financial situation. Opt for the Solidarity ticket if General or Sustainable is not accessible to you right now.
