After a full seven-story interior redesign of this Nolita office, Brooklyn Grange was engaged to landscape from the street to the upper terrace, including a refresh of the backyard landscape, interior greenery on every floor with potted tropicals, a new potted garden on the upper terrace, and a seasonal rotation of annuals in the sidewalk tree bed. The backyard plant palette drew inspiration from the existing Japanese Maple and original Japanese wall tiles, with additions like Iris ensata and Hakonechloa macra. In spring, delicate but hardy pansies are planted in the tree bed followed by a beautiful mix of summer annuals, including begonias, dahlias, and caladiums.
