FAVORITE GREEN SPACE IN NYC
One of my favorite green spaces in New York is Herbert Von King park in Bed Stuy. I love to spend summer afternoons reading on the lawn. It's also been a saving grace during the pandemic as my neighborhood mobile testing spot. A great community gathering hub!
PROUDEST MOMENT IN THE GARDEN
For the past two summers, my partner and I have been managing our own little stoop garden! We grew tomatillos last summer without realizing how they would take over the bed. But by the end of the season, we had canned dozens of jars of salsa verde!
My favorite plants belong to the Cactaceae family and I love nopales! They are delicious to eat and have beautiful blooms. I even have a stick and poke tattoo of them!
