My favorite green space in NYC is the Brooklyn Botanic Garden. I've lived next door to it for the last 3 years, and it's my favorite place to go when I'm looking to relax. It's such a joy to watch the diversity of plants change as the seasons shift. I learn something new every time I go!

PROUDEST MOMENT IN THE GARDEN
My proudest moment while working at Brooklyn Grange occurred in 2021 during Fall Fest at the LIC farm. This event was months in the making and it turned out to be such a success and I'm so grateful that I got to be a part of it. So many people from the community came out and it was amazing to see people of all ages engaging with the farm. I think it was the most people we've ever had up on the roof and I was just so happy to be there.
FAVORITE PLANT
Since joining BG in 2020, my two favorite plants have become fairytale eggplant and yarrow. Seeing a customer's reaction to fairytale eggplant always makes me laugh, and I'm obsessed with the yarrow-filled bouquets that we sell at the market too.
