FOOD EQUITY FUNDING PARTNERSHIPS

At Brooklyn Grange, we believe fresh, nourishing food should be a right—not a privilege. Our Food Equity Funding Partnerships connect our rooftop farms with community organizations and mission-aligned businesses to get locally grown, culturally relevant produce to New Yorkers at no or low cost.

We began expanding this work in 2018, and when the pandemic disrupted traditional food systems in 2020, we leaned further into building strong, local networks rooted in solidarity, mutual aid, and community partnership. Today, these relationships are at the heart of how we share our harvest.

IN 2025, BROOKLYN GRANGE GREW AN ESTIMATED 44,985 LBS OF VEGETABLES FOR COMMUNITY MEMBERS AT NO OR LOW COST.

By listening to our partners and growing and distributing food in ways that respond to community needs, we’re working together toward a more equitable, connected, and resilient local food system.
