About Triple J Farm: Triple J Farm was founded by James Minton and his wife Wilhelmina Minton when they moved from Harlem to Windsor, NY to buy farmland and create a sanctuary for their family despite the obstacles that stand in the way of Black Americans looking to own farmland. Today they advocate and help pave the way for young Black farmers to learn and follow in their footsteps and to Make Farmers Black Again. They advocate for working towards ending race-based discrimination in the ability to buy land and create generational wealth for families on operational and viable farmland. James and Wilhelmina’s grandsons, Jarrad and Daryl, are now a part of Triple J’s day-to-day operations that are ever expanding with over 20 acres of land for chickens, cows, goats, bees, Cane Corso dogs, apple trees, maple trees, and their beautiful family supporting them.
