WILSON GIBBONS 
Produce Sales Manager

Wilson cut his teeth selling legal marketing services and tech platforms. But it was only a matter of time before the native New Yorker with an insatiable appetite for all things delicious brought his talents to the world of farming. His first stop was a hydroponic operation growing microgreens and edible flowers in a TriBeCa basement, where he learned the fast-paced and exciting art of working with NYC’s fine dining chefs, juggling 25 accounts and over 400+ products. He made his way from basement to roof in spring 2019, joining the Brooklyn Grange team as Produce Sales Manager, and quickly settled into the tempo of soil-based, seasonal farming.

Named after the R&B artist Wilson Pickett, he is as loyal to his accounts as he is to his bandmates, many of whom he’s known since kindergarten. When he’s not touring a chef around the rooftops or dropping off samples at a new retail market, Wilson is typically suffering through a Knicks game as a life-long season ticket holder. Occasionally, he gives himself a break from losing by demolishing an opponent at any board game to which he’s challenged.
