Rack 'em up, line the tables, cause RIBFEST is back baby! Our pals at Butcher Bar are here for another round, this time to show us a thing or two about ribs. We really can't get enough of ‘em!
We're all about veggies on our farm, but when someone talks about BBQ so good you could call it "meat candy," we're hooked. Matthew Katakis, Queens native and the man behind some of the best BBQ in town, knows how to serve up a meal that will leave your fingers sticky and your belly full. His restaurant, Butcher Bar is an old school Butcher Shop with modern-day ideals & a BBQ Smoke House restaurant located right down the road in Astoria, Queens. He does barbecue right and we're jazzed to load our table with racks of ribs and southern sides, sip local brews and fine NY State wines, and soak up one final afternoon of family-style feasting.
Forget the forks, clear your afternoon, and come fill your bellies and souls with good food and good company. It'll be downright delicious.

BUTCHER PAPER DINNER
The Butcher Paper Dinners are a series of fun, sustainable and inventive dinner parties held June through September at our flagship rooftop in LIC, centered around the farm's massive, reclaimed white oak communal table down the length of which we roll butcher paper. We engage a rotating lineup of the city's most innovative chefs who bring their unique culinary stylings to play with fresh, seasonal produce, serving family-style, eat-with-your-hands meals directly atop the paper-lined table, all of which is composted onsite after the event. This style of hands-on dining allows guests to really engage with their food -- and their neighboring diners -- for a dinner event that's outside the box. You won’t find napkins or utensils at these dinners, rather we opt for a good old fashion hose down as we aim to create as little waste as possible.
ABOUT LEOPARD AND PEAR
Leopard and Pear is a collaboration of Erin and Eric- both celebrated chefs who earned their stripes in the pastry world. Together, they’ve teamed up to create a premiere dessert and pastry company offering unique, interactive and experiential tables. They also have an 18th century inspired tea cafe and garden opening in summer- The Awkward Scone- where house-blended herbal teas, fresh pastries, and sandwiches all dance with a subtle infusion of aromatic herbs and florals.
ABOUT FOX RUN VINEYARDS
Fox Run Vineyards strives to make wine approachable. We believe anyone should be able to enjoy a glass of wine regardless of where they are on the wine experience spectrum. We offer in-depth tours of the vineyard and winemaking facility, a friendly and knowledgeable staff, and a Café with a fully house-made menu. Fox Run is family-owned and has been making estate wines since 1989.
And we live by the motto: Drink wine, be happy.
Kings County Brewers Collective (KCBC) is a production brewery and taproom located in Bushwick in Brooklyn, NY. Owned and operated by a trio of brewers (Pete Lengyel, Tony Bellis, and Zack Kinney), KCBC produces a wide variety of beers and styles, rotating recipe design between the three brewers and collaborating frequently with others in the community. KCBC is also the first brewery to operate in the historically-beer-centric Bushwick neighborhood since 1976.
