2017 Butcher paper dinners sold out in less than 24 hours! Other great summer events can be found on our online calendar. To get first dibs on tickets for next year, make sure to sign up for our newsletter!
We’ve asked Matthew Katakis, Queens native and the man behind some of the best BBQ in town, back for a pulled pork feast that’s not to be missed. This one has become a classic and we couldn’t imagine the 2017 line-up without this summer BBQ bliss!
His restaurant, Butcher Bar is an old school Butcher Shop with modern day ideals & a BBQ Smoke House restaurant located right down the road in Astoria, Queens. Soak in some early summer sun and sip local brews and wine, and eat BBQ to your heart’s content, all against the unforgettable backdrop of the Manhattan skyline.
This one's not for the faint of heart! We always eat with our hands at Butcher Paper Dinners, but this time around you'll be donning a fashionable pair of gloves and pulling your own pork. Make a sandwich or eat it straight, the choice is yours. Get ready to get a little dirty... but don't worry, we're here to help you clean up when it's over.

ABOUT BRONX BREWERY
We believe in doing one thing and doing it right. We believe that focus, attention, and innovation drive quality. That’s why we’re manically focused on brewing one single style of beer: the pale ale. We love that our beers are complex yet approachable, very flexible, and always balanced.
Summer Done Right: Our Summer Ale is the embodiment of those who don’t need much to make a memory. Brewed with lemon peel to be incredibly crisp and refreshing, it’s for those who know how to do summer right - with good weather, good friends and good beer. Delivered From Above.
ABOUT BOE WINES
Brooklyn Oenology Winery (pron. ‘EN-ology’ or simply ‘BOE’), is a locally-focused winery based in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, founded in 2006 by winemaker Alie Shaper. BOE extends the fundamental idea of terroir, which is essentially a combination of factors that create a wine’s sense of “place,” by incorporating the local agricultural, creative culinary, and art worlds.
ABOUT WHISK ME AWAY CAKES
We're committed to using the global excitement around cakes, pastries, and traditional sweets to blur lines between cultures, races, and religions as we raise awareness around current issues.
