Event Description

Macrame, believed to originate from 13th century,  is a technique crafted by sailors while traversing across the oceans for long lengths of time and therefore share the same knot terms.  In this workshop, students will learn to tie the basic knots that will enable them to create a fun macrame wall hanging and begin their voyage into the endless combinations.

All materials, the cotton ropes and a piece of wood will be provided.
