Brooklyn Grange, Flagship Farm in Long Island City

We’ve asked Matthew Katakis, Queens native and the man behind some of the best BBQ in town, back for a pulled pork feast that’s not to be missed. This one has become a classic and we couldn’t imagine the 2018 line-up without this summer BBQ bliss!

His restaurant, Butcher Bar is an old school Butcher Shop with modern day ideals & a BBQ Smoke House restaurant located right down the road in Astoria, Queens. Soak in some early summer sun and sip local brews and wine, and eat BBQ to your heart’s content, all against the unforgettable backdrop of the Manhattan skyline.

This one's not for the faint of heart! We always eat with our hands at Butcher Paper Dinners, but this time around you'll be donning a fashionable pair of gloves and pulling your own pork. Make a sandwich or eat it straight, the choice is yours. Get ready to get a little dirty... but don't worry, we're here to help you clean up when it's over.

SCHEDULE:

3pm - 4pm: Snacks, drinks, explore the farm
4pm: Dinner is served
