After morning chores are done, the fields are watered and the chickens are happily pecking away, it’s time to feed yourself with some of the fruits of your labor. Okay, okay maybe this isn’t how you start your day but it doesn’t mean you don’t have to eat like it! Farm fresh eggs accompanied by Brooklyn Grange greens and herbs are a match made in heaven. Chef Michelle will show you how to make a brunch that will put your hungover friends to shame and turn your morning routine from glum to yum! (yes we just said that) In this class you will learn how to master not one but two essential egg techniques, fried and scrambled. You’ll also learn how to best use fresh herbs for seasoning. And to make it a complete meal we’ll be whipping up some buttermilk biscuits. There’s nothing quite like starting your day on the farm!

ABOUT CHEF MICHELLE WARNER
Michelle is a cooking instructor and chef who loves sharing home-cooked meals with friends. Her passion for food was born in her Aunt Caroline’s kitchen in rural Illinois, where fresh-picked sweet corn went straight into the pot and neighbors popped in for breakfasts, armed with homemade venison sausage. Early on, Michelle discovered the flavor benefits of cooking from the earth, using seasonal foods grown close to home.
Michelle’s mission is to help novices and professionals alike find confidence in the kitchen. She works as a food stylist at the Food Network and operates By-Hand Culinary, which promotes cooking classes and food events around NYC.
