We're coming in to NYC (Brooklyn tho I grew up in Long Island City) for just a few days in late May (25-27) from San Francisco. Any chance you'll be open for a visit by such tourists then?

Thx.

Need help getting the word out in the Brooklyn area.

Hello. I'm Allen Bolden, the new rep for Bonnie Plant Farms in Brooklyn, NY. We offer a "Cabbage Program" sponsored by us for 3rd graders in schools across the nation. We give each of the 3rd grade students a free cabbage plant to grow at home. (There will be over 3 million cabbages given away this year.) They will be given a date inwhich to enter their cabbage in the biggest cabbage contest, for a chance to win a $1000.00 scholarship from Bonnie Plant Farms. There will be one winner from each state. Only one school participated last year (PS217). the students and families really enjoyed it and has signed back up this year. For more info please log onto www.bonnieplants.com and click on Cabbage Program for full details.

Martha Stewarts web site has a link about our program. http://inthegarden.marthastewart.com/2011/03/03/to-get-kids-gardening-think-cabbage/

If you have any questions please feel free to contact me at allen.bolden@bonniesales.com or by phone (334) 391-2905.

Thanks for your time.

sincerely,

Allen Bolden

I would love to schedule a visit to the Brooklyn Grange on an upcoming Friday afternoon. I have a great group of Brooklyn College students enrolled in an internship course with me on "community organizing around food and sustainability issues" and we are longing for a field trip. Please let me know which Friday would work for you and inform and inspire us! Thank you! Welcome Otto!

Hi Ben,

Thank you for giving me and my traveling farmer friend a tour of your farm this week. I posted a couple of shots on my food stories blog, www.jennifermay.com/blog.

I will be back.

Very best,

Hi,

I am interested in days that my husband and I can volunteer on the farm!

Yesterday was the first day that I came by to buy some vegetables, and we were thrilled, everything had the aroma and taste that we are used to from the produce in California.

Thank you!

All the best,

Yassaman

Hello there! I am a very interested columbia student. I have been a board member of CUFSP (columbia u. food sustainability project) where I started RooFood, a group that promotes involvement with projects like yours!! I would love to come to the fundraiser tonight, but alas, I am without the funds!

I would love to meet with someone about potential volunteering or even just to hear about your project in general. Please let me know if any of this would be possible.

All the best of luck,
Abby
